These ex EMR HST power cars have now been transferred from Ely Papworth Sidings to Eastleigh Works. Rumours were abound that these were to be the first of the off lease HST power cars to meet the scrap man but there appears to be little substance in this. In fact, it seems that Hanson & Hall are involved in some way but no news as of yet as to what the plans are for these power cars. A planned move for some or all of these is in the schedules for next week with Willesden TMD being their onward destination
