Feels like it has been an age since we heard anything about the Class 69 conversions but finally 69001 has an engine that powers and has completed load bank testing. It is now awaiting a move to the Severn Valley Railway where it will undergo further testing

Both of these TfW pacer units have now been transferred from Landore TMD to Sims Metal, Newport by road to meet their end :(
